Healthcare Product, AI & Transformation Executive
I build product and design organizations that connect payer economics, human behavior, and agentic AI to measurable health outcomes.
About
For 18+ years I have worked where healthcare economics meets the product experience. I trained as an industrial designer, shipped regulated connected medical devices, led federal-scale clinical quality measurement at MITRE, and led digital experience and design for a 6 million member health plan at Highmark Health.
The through line is decomplexifying healthcare: understanding how the business actually makes money, how people actually behave, and building products that serve both.
Today I build agentic AI for care navigation at Morgen Health, a personal digital twin that simulates care plans and guides each person toward the path most likely to work for their life. That hands-on building keeps my AI and product judgment grounded in what actually ships.
Selected Results
Payer economics and quality performance. Led experience and product strategy for Highmark Health's AI personalization program across a 6 million member book, partnering with payer strategy and actuarial teams on behavioral health access and Stars performance priorities. The program and member portal redesign drove +30% engagement, +17% task success, and +32 NPS. Fluent in Stars, HEDIS, risk adjustment, PMPM, and value-based contracts.
Enterprise product and design leadership. Scaled Highmark Health's digital experience and design organization from 6 to 45 people with a $5M budget inside a $22M digital portfolio spanning member portal, telehealth, and care navigation. Led strategy for replacing a legacy vendor platform in house, contributing to $2M in annual savings delivered three months early, and secured funding for a centralized design system that improved delivery efficiency 28%.
Agentic AI product building. Built Morgen Health's product from zero, including behavioral risk scoring, care tiering logic, personalized engagement, and agentic AI workflows, with working prototypes on Supabase, React Native, and AI agent frameworks. Own PMPM and SaaS pricing and a $1.2M ARR pathway developed through pilot conversations with ACOs, FQHCs, and value-based care organizations, alongside an NIH SBIR submission and research partnerships with Kaiser Permanente, Harvard, and Georgia Tech.
Federal-scale clinical quality measurement. Led design and front-end development for popHealth at MITRE, deploying automated clinical quality measure reporting across the VA's 8 million enrolled veterans.
Regulated product delivery. Directed product and experience strategy for nine FDA-cleared digital health products across de novo and 510(k) pathways for Teva, Helius Medical, Renovia, and Insulet. Led design for Digihaler, the first FDA de novo cleared connected respiratory therapeutic, spanning connected hardware, companion software, and cloud analytics. Built and scaled a MedTech design practice to $3M in annual revenue.
